THE COMPETITION
Over a period of 6 months, we will train and support up to 50 top Canadian students to run their own summer house painting business, and compete to win scholarships, a Dean’s List all-inclusive trip, introductions with business leaders, and the right to be our this year’s Champion.

How the Painting Process Works
When prep is handled properly, the final coat of paint will look professional and last much longer, saving the homeowner money.
Scholars Edge Student Painting uses its perfected process to ensure our projects last. We train all student managers and their painters in the industry’s best practices. While painting a house seems pretty straightforward, all painting projects actually differ. We focus on educating our teams on our best practices for delivering an outstanding job that you’ll be happy with and sure to refer us to your friends and family.
Our thorough process of educating our operators and teams on the importance of Prepping, Priming and Painting is one that we take great pride in to ensure that your project is completed in the most professional manner that you deserve. While this sounds simple, we take is very seriously, and it really is one of the greatest differences that sets us apart from others. In fact, all operators and crew leaders must graduate from our week-long intensive on-the-job training program in early May after school exams. At the detriment to our early May sales, we make sure that our operators are trained thoroughly on all aspects of painting a house safely, inside and out. None of our direct competitors provide this much training to the students.
